This week I spent more time with some c64 stuff. Not that much progress as it was a very mentally exhausting planning week at work, but I did manage to get a nice workflow going with makefiles (rather than the batch scripts I was using 5 years ago lol), refresh my memory with the innards of a bunch of the old effects I wrote, try out cheesecutter (a few-years-old-but-still-new cross-tracker.. and ok, I only tried playing a track from it, not using it), learn how to use VICE's monitor (finally), resurrect an old netbook that's too slow to do anything useful, and started playing some games. Not any real effect progress rather than reading up on stuff.
