Ok, so it's not really failure at all, it actually looks FUCKIN FANTASTIC this time, but I can't show all of it yet, as this week is make-a-demo-for-TRSAC week and I don't wanna spill the beans yet :D
Basically this last week has been prepping more tool shit. At this point I've lost track a bit over what all I got done, but it was a TON of stuff, including porting (and improving bits of) the renderer from Almost Infinite, starting on some actual scenes (YESS), lots of tool improvements (multiple texture formats for render targets, RNG, etc), ... yeah lots of stuff. Next writeup will be a long post-mortem of the demo when it's finished. Expect details then.
