On to visuals, finally!

So it took a bit longer than expected, but I finally did get that render target stuff sorted. Ended up kinda taking it easy this last week to rest up for the long haul this next two weeks - but I think I'm ready :)

Anyways, got the render target stuff working nicely (along with all of the other abstractions I had to do to make that work and make it useful), and then started getting a renderer up and running. Long story short, this tool seems like it's going to work really well, so I'm pretty happy about that! Got FXAA and tonemap/gamma passes up and running super quickly. Next up is some details with texture formats and porting more of the renderer. This time I think we'll go for straight forward rendering as that makes materials a bit easier to deal with for the time being (just render with different shaders and less packing etc). So yeah, this week is actually visuals this time swear I promise :D
