I literally haven't really played with any demo-related anything since the engine last summer and the tooling I've been working on the past couple weeks. So it's SUPER NICE that finally I have something that looks like a demo to show for it :D
Unfortunately, the prod in question won't actually be released until next weekend - so I don't want to post any screenshots. The best I can do on that front is to post a blurry, cropped section of it and call it good XD
I can also write some words about it. Basically I didn't have time to continue on any more tooling, but as I had live asset reload for shaders (and I added texture support this week as well) I didn't really need anymore if I did everything more or less in one shader. I only really had to rebuild a few times when I added textures etc.
I really want to write about some of the tricks used in the visuals, but it really won't make sense until the thing is released, so I'll have to hold off. Sorry!
Anyways, it was a very productive week. Time to rest a bit before getting back to work tomorrow :)
