I fucked up and blender is hard. I already did this kind of thing and I thought smoothing it out and some such would help but no....blender is still hard as fuck.
I will....keep trying.
Edit. So I was mad. But I will do a proper post because now I'm not mad, and my new plan is bad ass! Due to me not liking how the armor looked at first, I decided not to post it on Sunday, but I'm going to update this post because the nose piece was almost done on sunday and even had a render. The armor was made because the ship was shitty like the thumbnail clearly shows. It was kinda fun throwing plating at it. The window was another day but I don't have a render with the armor without the window so that's why its on there. Next weeks everyweeks you will all be familiar with due to my gratuitous posting on slack but I still have more work for this ship. If I can make it cool enough, I would like to animate the plating. I know this is a spaceship but it is ready to enter an atmosphere and it could use any active aerodynamics it can get due to its sheer weight. I need to finish modeling the plating on the bottom and figure out a better back fin. Maybe sharpen up some edges. Add some lighting under the middle plates. The mesh is really hard to work with at this stage because even though I tried to be really good about keeping the mesh clean, It's still hard for a beginner.
